Husk wool and hemp rug is a dreamy combination of fibres. With the strength of hemp and the softness of wool, the Husk rug will withstand the busiest home environments.
Hand crafted from natural fibres, the new Husk Weave alternates rows of hemp loops with those of cut wool pile.
Husk rugs are hand crafted by two people, usually a husband and wife team, at one time. The fibres are looped around a slim pole that is removed to reveal the affect you see. The wool is then released to bring it to life, whilst the hemp is left as a loop.
Armadillo & Co's Husk Weave Rug is hand woven under Fair Trade conditions in India by Armadillo's artisans.
